THIRIET TPA5335N TENSIONING BAR ADAPTER

Original Thiriet adapter for curtain tensioning profile – Native THIRIET system compatibility – Product code: TPA5335N / Krone 505870383 / Schwarzmueller SWM36837

The THIRIET (Product code: TPA5335N) curtain tensioning bar adapter is an essential technical component within the locking and pretensioning mechanism for sliding curtains (curtain-side) on commercial vehicles. This specialized part ensures secure coupling, perfect alignment, and firm locking of the vertical tensioning bar within the guide or ratchet mechanism of the semi-trailer, being directly responsible for maintaining the body's seal, aerodynamic stability, and cargo protection during transport.

The product is manufactured in strict compliance with Thiriet's geometric and strength standards, which guarantees an exact fit on compatible profiles, eliminating mechanical play caused by road vibrations and ensuring a long service life under intensive logistics operations.

Technical specifications:

Key advantages of the Thiriet TPA5335N adapter:

• 100% Native compatibility: Developed specifically for Thiriet brand systems, the adapter perfectly replaces worn parts, eliminating the risk of mechanical play or accidental curtain release while on the road.

• Precise and fast installation: The design of the part allows for firm attachment to the existing tensioning profile, facilitating quick repairs in the workshop or directly within the fleet, without complex structural modifications to the superstructure.

• Advanced anti-corrosion protection: Made of industrial galvanized steel, the adapter exhibits remarkable resistance to the direct action of moisture, mud, abrasive dust, and salt solutions spread on roads during winter.

• Maximum safety in transit: Ensures a rigid connection of the locking assembly, preventing the accidental loosening of the textile curtain under strong wind gusts at highway speeds.

Applicability and functionality:

The Thiriet TPA5335N adapter is a key piece in the structural assembly of transport superstructures. Its function of connecting the mechanical bar to the locking system on the pillar is critical for:

• Full protection of transported goods against harmful water, dust, or snow infiltration;

• Keeping the curtain perfectly tensioned, optimizing the aerodynamics of the TIR assembly and contributing to reduced fuel consumption;

• Increasing general traffic safety by eliminating side curtain flapping;

• Reducing the physical effort required by the driver during daily rapid uncoupling operations at the ramp.
