EDSCHA SLIDING ROOF SPACER 650MM 40 38 034 110/Krone 505870163

Original EDSCHA spacer for sliding roof guidance – Length: 650 mm – Product code: 40 38 034 110

The sliding roof spacer EDSCHA (Product code: 40 38 034 110), with a length of 650 mm, is a high-precision mechanical component designed to ensure the optimal performance of Edscha brand sliding roof systems. This element plays an essential role in maintaining a fixed and correctly calibrated geometric distance between the roof rafters (bows), facilitating smooth, linear, and uniform movement of the uncovering system.

Manufactured to meet the manufacturer's rigorous standards, this spacer offers structural durability and is calibrated to the exact dimension of 650 mm. The part guarantees the correct alignment of the bows during movement, preventing jamming, seizing, or overlapping of the trolleys on the guide rail, thus ensuring the long-term structural integrity of the superstructure.

Technical specifications:

Main advantages of the 650mm Edscha spacer:

• Original compatibility: Being an Edscha component, it guarantees a perfect fit in the roof systems, eliminating the risk of mechanical play or forced alignments.

• Precise geometry: The 650 mm length is essential for maintaining correct working distances, preventing strain on moving components and premature wear of the tarpaulin.

• Increased mechanical resistance: The robust construction allows for effective absorption of dynamic loads during transport and traction forces during roof opening.

• Reliable operation: Directly contributes to the fluidity of the roof movement, reducing the effort required by the driver for ramp maneuvers and preventing jams caused by incorrect rafter alignment.

• Efficient maintenance: Replacing with an original Edscha part ensures the restoration of the roof's factory performance without requiring additional adaptations.

Applicability and functionality:

The structural spacer EDSCHA 40 38 034 110 is a vital element for the maintenance of sliding roof systems. Its use is essential for:

• Ensuring parallel and smooth sliding of the roof rafters, avoiding tilting or seizing of the trolleys on the guide rail;

• Maintaining an equal distance between the bows, preventing the tarpaulin from sagging or the uneven accumulation of water and ice on the roof;

• Correct and compact folding of the textile material, maximizing useful space during vertical loading by overhead crane.

Target audience (Who is this product for):

• Transport companies using semi-trailers with Edscha sliding roofs;

• Truck service centers and workshops specialized in superstructure and TIR hardware repairs;

• Fleet managers who prioritize original spare parts to keep vehicles in optimal condition;

• Spare parts distributors and specialized commercial vehicle shops.

Conclusion

The 650mm EDSCHA 40 38 034 110 sliding roof spacer represents a reliable technical solution for the reconditioning of sliding roof systems. Choosing this original Edscha part ensures the fluidity, safety, and long-term durability of the uncovering system, facilitating the daily work of operators and effectively protecting the semi-trailer's cargo.
